Janneke Wade-de Jong
Janneke Wade-de Jong is a filmmaker and an instructor of record for filmmaking at UNCW. She’s interested in working in the documentary field, particularly directing and editing documentaries. However, she likes making films in the narrative medium as well. She likes the artistry and storytelling aspect of filmmaking and enjoys the collaborative process as well. Janneke is organized, communicative and a creative problem solver. She’s passionate about mental health and social justice issues. Janneke is currently in the process of making a short documentary film that portrays an intimate portrait of an African American man’s life living with schizophrenia. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Filmmaking at UNCW.
